Statistics show that Teenagers are the one group of drivers most prone to crashes due to their inexperience. Students who learn and follow defensive driving techniques can mitigate some of their inexperience through knowledge. Defensive Driving Program MAD-AREA Driving School is a Department Of Transportation licensed driver-training course. At Mad-Area defensive driving is more than just a concept, it’s a proven science! Students Learn about IPDE, using the SMITH SYSTEM and ZONE CONTROL.

They’ll learn about using active scanning techniques, and using these techniques to Identify and Predict potential conflicts. These techniques,both behind the wheel and in the classroom, work together to prevent crashes, reduce injuries, and lessen damage to a motor vehicle.

     Adult Programs
If you are an adult and never had any driver education, mastering the skills of the modern road can be confusing. Driving a motor vehicle is much more than learning how to steer, or how hard to press on the pedals. We start with basics, and move through the more complex aspects of operating a motor vehicle. More advanced sessions will teach you techniques on emergency avoidance and how to prevent potential conflicts.

      Use our cars for the road skills test!
So if you don't have a car how can you take your skills test? If you learned with us you can take the road test with the same vehicle you learned on. Even if you didn't learn with us we can evaluate your skills so you can use our licensed and insured vehicle, specially modified for driver education. That way you won't have to rent, lease, or buy a car before you have your license
